Short-form audio FAQ
Can I use any song?
Yes — but copyright and platform licensing still apply when you upload. This tool just cuts the clip; the upload-rights conversation is between you and the platform.
What format does TikTok / Reels accept?
MP3 is universally accepted. Reels also accepts M4A. The output here is MP3 at 192k, which works on every platform.
How do I beatmatch the fade-out to the song?
Pick a length that ends on a downbeat in the source. For more advanced control, run the song through the BPM Detector first to know the bar boundaries.
Will the audio quality drop?
Re-encoding to 192k MP3 is essentially transparent for short clips. Lossless inputs (FLAC, WAV) lose a tiny amount of fidelity at this bitrate.
