Terms of Service
The short version: use our tools for any lawful purpose, don't abuse them, we don't make warranties. Here's the longer version.
1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of MP3Conv (the site at mp3conv.com) and its audio tools. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the site.
2. The service
MP3Conv provides free online audio tools for converting, editing, compressing, generating and inspecting audio files. The service is offered “as is” — we may add, change or remove tools, change their behaviour, or pause the site at any time without prior notice.
3. Your files
You keep all rights to the audio files you process. Most conversions happen entirely in your device and never reach our infrastructure. Some advanced operations need our processing service — when they do, your file is held only long enough to complete the request and is removed within 24 hours. We do not read, analyse, profile, train models on, or share your audio. See our Privacy Policy for details.
4. Cloud-storage providers
MP3Conv lets you pick files directly from Dropbox or Google Drive. When you do, you authorise our service to fetch only the specific file you choose, for the sole purpose of completing your conversion. We do not browse your account, store credentials, or retain access between sessions. Use of those providers is also subject to their own terms — Dropbox's and Google's.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use MP3Conv to:
- Process content you don't have the right to process (copyrighted material without permission, illegal recordings, etc.)
- Automate the site at scale to evade rate limits, scrape pages or run a competing service on top of ours
- Probe or attack the site, attempt to bypass authentication, or interfere with other users
- Upload files containing malware, illegal content, or material that infringes third-party rights
We can rate-limit, block, or refuse access to anyone violating these rules.
6. Intellectual property
The MP3Conv name, branding, design and code are ours. The audio you process is yours. The output of any tool is yours to use as you see fit. Nothing in these terms grants you a licence to our brand or proprietary code beyond using the site as intended.
7. No warranty
MP3Conv is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, or fit for any specific purpose. Audio processing is lossy by nature — re-encoded files may sound different from the source. Always keep your originals.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, MP3Conv and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits, lost data, or loss of audio quality arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any direct damages is limited to zero (the service is free).
9. Third-party services
MP3Conv may load assets from a public CDN, use a privacy-friendly analytics provider, and integrate with cloud-storage providers (Dropbox, Google Drive) when you choose to. We're not responsible for the policies, availability or behaviour of those third-party services.
10. Termination
You can stop using MP3Conv at any time — there's no account to delete. We can suspend or block access for any user who violates these terms or abuses the service.
11. Changes
We may update these terms when the service changes. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date at the bottom of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which MP3Conv is operated. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
