Privacy Policy
The short version: we don't analyse or index your audio. Here's the longer version.
Files you process
We don't analyse, index or keep your audio. Most tools run entirely on your device — your file never reaches our infrastructure. Some advanced tools (large-file conversion, certain encoders, the dynamic-range compressor and the loudness calculator) need our processing service to complete the job; when they do, your file is held only for the seconds required to process it and is deleted within 24 hours. We do not read, profile, share or train models on your audio.
Cloud storage you import from
MP3Conv lets you pick files directly from Dropbox or Google Drive. When you click one of those buttons:
- You authenticate with the provider in their own popup. We never see your credentials.
- Once you pick a file, the provider returns a temporary download link bound to that single file. We use it once to fetch the file you chose, then discard it.
- We never browse your account, read other files, or store any access between sessions.
- Imported files are processed and deleted on the same 24-hour cycle as direct uploads.
Use of those providers is also subject to their own privacy policies (Dropbox and Google).
Cookies and storage
MP3Conv stores your theme preference (light or dark) in your browser. It's a local setting and is never transmitted.
In addition, the following third-party cookies are set when you visit the site:
- Google Analytics sets cookies (such as
_gaand_ga_*) to measure aggregate site usage. We have IP anonymization enabled, so your full IP address is never stored.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site usage — page views, country, device type and similar non-identifying signals. Analytics never see the audio you process; only navigation events on the site itself are recorded.
IP anonymization is enabled, so your full IP address is never stored. You can read Google's privacy policy for details on how Google processes this data, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on to stop GA from running on any site you visit.
Third-party assets
Some static assets are loaded from a public CDN the first time you use a tool. The Dropbox and Google Drive picker SDKs are loaded from those providers' CDNs only when you click their respective buttons. Your browser may share basic request information (IP, user-agent) with these CDNs to deliver the files. The CDNs do not receive your audio.
Changes
We will update this page if anything material changes. The date at the bottom shows the last revision.
