About the ID3 tag editor
Update ID3v2 metadata on any MP3 file: title, artist, album, year, genre, track number and album art. The editor reads the existing tags from your MP3 and lets you change anything you want.
Useful for cleaning up music library files, fixing wrong artist names, replacing low-resolution cover art, or adding metadata to recordings that have none.

ID3 editor FAQ
Will my original MP3 be modified?
No. The original file on your device stays untouched — you download a new copy with the updated tags.
Which tag standard does the editor write?
It writes ID3v2.3, the most widely supported version — works in iTunes, Windows Media Player, foobar2000, VLC, car stereos and more.
Can I add cover art?
Yes. Upload a JPEG or PNG image and it will be embedded in the file's APIC frame.
Does it support batch editing?
Currently the editor handles one file at a time. Batch support is on the roadmap.
