About this AIFF to MP3 converter
AIFF (Audio Interchange File Format) is Apple's lossless cousin of WAV. It's what Logic Pro, GarageBand and old Mac apps used to export by default. Sound quality is excellent, but file sizes are huge and most phones / streaming platforms expect MP3 or AAC.
Drop your AIFF in here and you'll get back a 192k MP3 — about 1/10 the size, identical to your ear, ready to share or upload anywhere.

AIFF to MP3 FAQ
Is AIFF lossless?
Yes. Standard AIFF stores uncompressed PCM audio, identical in quality to WAV and FLAC. Going to MP3 is one-way lossy — the resulting file is smaller but slightly less detailed.
Will the audio quality drop?
It's lossy compression, so there's some loss. At 192k it's inaudible for most listeners and absolutely fine for streaming, podcasts and casual listening.
What about FLAC instead?
FLAC is a lossless alternative that's a better choice if you want to keep every detail. Use the main converter and pick FLAC as the output.
Is my file kept private?
Yes. We don't analyse or index your file.
